New Scholarships for School-Based Audiologists

Share:
Lafayette, IN - School-based audiologists will be the beneficiaries of new scholarships in 2004. The Audiology Foundation of America (AFA) has established the AFA School-Based Practitioner Scholarship to encourage new applications to distance learning Au.D. programs by school-based audiology practitioners. Five scholarships of $1000 each will be awarded in 2004.

A recipient of the scholarship may be in the application process, but not currently enrolled in a distance learning Au.D. program at the time she/he applies for the scholarship. Recipients must enroll in a distance learning Au.D. program by December 31, 2004 or be on a verifiable waiting list.

School-based practitioners may apply for a scholarship by submitting a nomination form to the AFA. The scholarships will be awarded on a first come, first serve basis.

The nomination form and detailed information about the scholarship can be found on the AFA's website at https://www.audfound.org/.
