Oticon Opn Brings Home the Gold Again with 2018 Gold Stevie Award

SOMERSET, June 13–  Sheena Oliver, AuD, Vice President of Marketing for Oticon, Inc., accepted a Gold Stevie Award for Oticon Opn™ at the 2018 American Business Awards Gala, held June 11 in New York City.  Oticon’s newest BrainHearing™ solution was honored for the world’s first live concert broadcast exclusively for Opn wearers. The concert, featuring chart-topping rock band Styx, generated national and local media coverage that showed how Opn lets people with hearing loss "rock on." The newest award represents the third time that Opn has been honored by the Stevie Awards, the nation’s premier business awards program. In 2017, Opn earned top honors in two award categories, Consumer Electronics and Health & Pharmaceuticals.

A Perfect Ten

Three additional 2018 awards bring to ten the number of awards that have celebrated the expanded Opn family.  In May, the 2018 Compass Intelligence Award, an award that honors the top companies, products and technology solutions in the mobile, IoT and emerging technology industries, honored Oticon Opn as the Connected Health & Wellness Product of the Year.  Also in May, the Oticon Opn testimonial video featuring Robert Primes earned a Bronze Telly Award, the premier award honoring video and television across all screens. 

Earlier this year, Oticon ConnectClip, the newest Oticon connectivity device, won a 2018 Red Dot Award for product design, an internationally recognized seal of excellence in design innovation. The discreet intermediary device provides hands-free connectivity designed to improve Opn users’ listening and communication experiences.
