In just over two months since the launch of www.hearingaidtaxcredit.org over 10,000 letters have been sent to the Hill in support of the hearing aid tax credit. This initiative is having a dramatic impact on HIA's ability to build support for the tax credit. In fact, all recent co-sponsors have received letters, including newest supporters Sen. Chris Dodd (D-CT) who received nearly 50 letters, Sen. Olympia Snowe (R-ME) who received 20 letters, and Reps. Kenny Marchant (R-TX), Chip Pickering (R-MS), and Jim Oberstar (D-MN) who received 10 letters apiece. With these new additions the tax credit's co-sponsorship totals stand at 92 in the House and 11 in the Senate.
