Ballerup, Demark, October 16, 2019 – GN Hearing, the global leader in hearing aid technology and connectivity, presents powerful proof of the performance of ReSound LiNX Quattro at the 64th International Congress of Hearing Aid Acousticians (EUHA) in Nuremberg.

ReSound LiNX Quattro is placed as a clear winner for sound quality in a new survey of over 700 hearing care professionals. When comparing ReSound LiNX Quattro with other brands of premium hearing aids selected by the hearing care professionals, ReSound ranked as the preferred technology for sound quality, understanding speech in a noisy background, and localizing sounds.1 These continue to be the major drivers of satisfaction for hearing aid users.2 Moreover, ReSound LiNX Quattro is also ranked number one for speech in noise and music listening when streaming from an iPhone, compared to other hearing aids in a new independent study.3

Most recently, ReSound LiNX Quattro became the world’s first hearing aid to stream audio directly from Android devices using Bluetooth Low Energy to make all-day streaming effortless for people with hearing loss. For the first time, hearing aid users can stream music, phone calls, and other sound directly from their compatible Android smartphone to their ReSound LiNX Quattro hearing aids,4 while preserving battery life.

“As people are increasingly streaming sound from smartphones, any technology must be designed for streaming all day, while preserving battery life. This is exactly what our direct streaming technology offers,” explains Brian Dam Pedersen, Chief Technology Officer at GN Hearing. “We are proud to once again deliver true innovation with the user at heart.”

Devoted to creating user-centric innovations, the company is also presenting the world’s first Completely-in-Canal (CIC) 2.4 GHz wireless hearing aid for direct streaming to iOS and Android devices. A new portfolio of custom-crafted ReSound LiNX Quattro hearing aids, which sit subtly in the ear canal, offers the industry-renowned ReSound LiNX Quattro technology featuring a brilliant experience with Layers of Sound, great speech intelligibility even in noisy situations, and excellent connectivity.

“The feedback on ReSound LiNX Quattro from users and their caregivers has been excellent, and we’re responding to this by bringing these technological advancements to even more people with hearing loss, who prefer a highly discreet way to hear better,” says Marcus Desimoni, CFO of GN Store Nord.
