Siemens Introduces RAPID BTE XCHANGE™ Program

Share:
SALT LAKE CITY, March 31, 2004 - Siemens developed the Rapid BTE Xchange™ program to give Hearing Care Professionals and their patients another option for BTEs in need of repair. With the new Rapid BTE Xchange program, patients can have a conditioned-to-new BTE in just one to two days. Conditioned-to-new BTEs have new housing, new controls and a new serial number and offer the same high standards Siemens provides with new instruments. A BTE is "certified" for the program only after it passes all quality tests to ensure the amplifier, shell housing, controls and settings perform as originally designed for new BTEs.

"Timing is key to your patient's satisfaction," states Ricki Klein, M.A., National Customer Care Manager. "Once he or she becomes accustomed to wearing their hearing instruments, living without one while it's being repaired can cause frustration. Our Rapid BTE Xchange program will assist in improving quality of life."

The Rapid BTE Xchange program applies to standard color BTEs (beige, tobacco, gray and granite) from Siemens within five years from the date of the manufacturer's original invoice. BTEs that have been modified (CROS/BICROS, eyeglass, etc.) or "fun color" BTEs are not eligible at this time. Contact your Siemens Sales Representative at (800) 766 - 4500 for more details about the Rapid BTE Xchange program or other Siemens programs or services.
