Starkey Recognized as a Beyond the Yellow Ribbon Company

Eden Prairie, Minnesota (November 11, 2025) Starkey, a global leader in innovative hearing technology, was recognized as a Beyond the Yellow Ribbon company for its efforts in supporting the military community at a proclamation event in Eden Prairie.

The Beyond the Yellow Ribbon designation celebrates organizations that go above and beyond in supporting service members, veterans, and their families through outreach, resources, and meaningful action. It reflects Starkey’s lasting commitment to helping those who have served successfully reintegrate into civilian life, thrive in their careers, and feel valued within our community.

The proclamation ceremony celebrated Starkey’s commitment to build awareness and take action to recognize and support service members and their families. It was attended by local government officials and distinguished members of the local military community as well as hundreds of Starkey employees and its leadership team.

“At Starkey, we are proud to not only support our greater veteran and active-military community, but to offer additional accommodations and services to our employee veterans, service members and their families,” said Brandon Sawalich, Starkey’s President and CEO. “It’s an honor to be recognized as a Beyond the Yellow Ribbon company for our efforts to make Starkey a workplace where men and women who have served or continue to serve our country can thrive and get the additional support they need to be successful.”

As the only American-owned hearing technology company, Starkey is proud to honor and support those who serve our country. Through Starkey Cares, employees give back in meaningful ways — from placing flags at Fort Snelling and writing cards to hospitalized veterans, to participating in a variety of community service projects. Whether through expanding access to care or creating moments of appreciation, Starkey’s commitment to the military community is deeply woven into our culture and purpose.

Starkey was founded on the belief that everyone deserves the chance to hear and connect with the world around them. At the heart of that mission is Starkey Cares, a commitment to uniting people through the common bond of care and making a meaningful impact in our communities, across the globe, and for those who have served our country.
