The University of South Florida (USF), Tampa, Florida, in conjunction with James A. Haley VA Hospital, Tampa, Florida, presents the 2nd Annual Sunshine State Symposium on Hearing. This year's topic is "Management of Severe to Profound Hearing Loss" and will be presented by Arthur Boothroyd, Ph.D. Select cochlear implant and hearing aid manufacturers will also provide information regarding products to alleviate or compensate for the communication difficulties experienced by this population.
The seminar will be held at the USF Tampa campus on Friday, January 21, 2005, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Registration fee is $25.00 for all non-USF staff and non-VA employees. Students from other universities may register for $10.00. Registration covers course materials, lunch, and refreshments. CEUs provided.
