Unitron Hearing, a manufacturer of easy-to-use digital hearing solutions, has opened a new office in the United Kingdom and appointed Roger Lewin as its General Manager.
As General Manager of Unitron Hearing United Kingdom, Roger Lewin will have primary responsibility for the operations of the Warrington, Cheshire office beginning July 2, 2003. Audifon UK Limited, who has provided an excellent foundation on which to build the future, has previously managed the Unitron brand in the UK. Roger will broaden Unitron Hearing's digital products through the introduction of new product offerings, and heighten Unitron Hearing's brand and presence across the UK and Ireland. The new UK office will compliment Unitron Hearing's offices in Holland, Germany, Canada, and the United States by providing additional products, services and support to the European market.
Roger began his career in Audiology at King's College Hospital in London. He holds a Masters Science Degree in Technical Audiology, a Bachelors of Science (Honours) Degree in Physiology and is a Registered Hearing Aid Dispenser (RHAD). He is also a Council member of the British Society of Hearing Aid Audiologists, British Society of Audiology Education Committee, and past chairman of the National Committee of Professionals in Audiology.
Prior to joining Unitron Hearing, Roger worked for five years at Phonak Hearing Systems as Head of Audiology and Professional Services in the United Kingdom. Roger has also worked for Siemens Hearing Instruments for ten years in various roles including Customer Service and as a Professional Services Manager.
