WSA Strengthens Commitment to Supporting VA and DoD Audiologists at 2026 JDVAC with expanded national training programs, deeper clinical partnerships, and continued advancement of industry-leading hearing technology

Iselin, NJ, March 5, 2026 — WSA continues its longstanding commitment to supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the Department of Defense (DoD) audiology community at the 2026 Joint Defense Veterans Audiology Conference (JDVAC) in Orlando, FL, on March 9-11 (Booth #2).

WSA’s involvement at JDVAC each year reflects its deep, sustained partnership with the VA and DoD, and its mission to ensure audiologists have the innovations, tools, and support they need to deliver exceptional care to veterans and active duty members.

One Complete Portfolio. Every Veteran. Zero Compromise.
Signia is committed to creating innovative designs to enhance accessibility and reach more people than ever before—especially veterans and active duty members whose needs don't fit traditional categories.

The Signia Integrated Xperience (IX) platform delivers a complete, flexible hearing solution that meets every patient's need — from cosmetic discretion to connectivity options to tinnitus management to SCIF compliance, fitting hearing losses up to profound — without sacrificing clinical outcomes or audiologist efficiency.

Our work with the VA, DoD, and the veterans and active duty members they serve has always been a core part of our mission at Signia,” said Sheena Burks, Chief Clinical Officer at WSA. “Signia IX delivers one complete portfolio, with hearing solutions that meet every patient's need. We’re proud to work hand-in-hand with VA and DoD audiologists who provide exceptional care every day. JDVAC is an important opportunity to strengthen those relationships and reaffirm our support throughout the year.”

Putting our commitment into action, WSA Group CEO Jan Makela will attend JDVAC to engage directly with VA and DoD audiologists and demonstrate, at the highest level, our dedication to serving the unique needs of veterans and active duty members.

“As a global hearing health company, we stand firmly behind the VA and DoD audiologists who care for veterans and active duty members, and we remain committed to strengthening that support year after year,” stated Jan Makela, WSA Group CEO. “Veterans and active duty members deserve the very best in hearing care, and our entire global organization is dedicated to ensuring they receive it.”

In addition to Makela’s participation, Signia’s clinical and technology experts will deliver two educational tech sessions, offering evidence-backed insights and practical guidance to help audiologists maximize Signia in their daily practice.
