Question

Does Oticon Medical have the industry's widest bone-anchored frequency bandwidth?

Answer

Yes, Oticon Medical's frequency bandwidth is 38% wider than others on the market. With a wider and narrower bandwidth, patients with very good underlying cochlear function can make use of high-frequency information. Therefore it's important that we give them the high-frequency information because it increases clarity. This helps the brain to hear without expending energy from working memory to try and solve the gaps within the sound or the distortions within the sound.

She went on to work in the busy NHS environment and very quickly developed a passion for implantable hearing solutions. In 2009 Laura began working commercially, and has been heavily involved in clinical support, audiological and surgical training as well as sales management and training across Europe and Asia Pacific. She is currently Director of Clinical Training and Support with Oticon Medical, Denmark.
