How does Phonak use artificial intelligence (AI) and deep neural network (DNN) algorithms to benefit my patients?
Answer
All Phonak Infinio hearing aids use AutoSense OS 6.0 to intelligently adapt the hearing aid to the acoustic environment, minimizing the need to manually adjust settings during daily use. Infinio can apply feature settings when they are most likely to benefit the patient, from solutions for quiet environments like Speech Enhancer, to solutions for loud environments like StereoZoom 2.0. Sphere Infinio has an additional level of AI technology based on DNNs called Spheric Speech Clarity.
Spheric Speech Clarity creates a 10 dB SNR improvement that isn’t dependent on the location of the speech. Because of its extensive training, Spheric Speech Clarity enhances speech from any direction in an instant.
