What are five basic steps to complete for all connectivity issues with Oticon Medical's Ponto 5 Mini?

Discuss what questions you should ask your patient to get at the issue.
Walk through the importance of verifying equipment –checking the Ponto 5 Mini device function.
Check the accessory/smartphone function is also key. Is the accessory charged, is the patient using a new battery, are they pushing the right buttons at the right time?
Review the patient’s program settings. Also check in on their last hearing test. When was the last time they were in for an audiogram or when was the last time their BC-Insitu was updated in the software?
Provide resources to the patient. Patients have a varying level of comfort with Bluetooth connectivity and accessories. Understand the resources available to you as a clinician and being able to point your patients in the right direction when they are having an issue can add to their confidence level and give them the tools they need to feel confident in using Bluetooth to connect.
