Question

What is Roger Unlimited and what does it mean for my patients?

Answer

29141

Roger Unlimited is the next evolution in how the Phonak Roger ecosystem handles Roger receivers. Over the years our innovations have progressed from design-integrated audioshoes, to RogerDirect in 2019, to our newest innovation in Roger connectivity – Roger Unlimited.

New Roger microphones will now have unlimited receivers pre-installed and ready to use with RogerDirect enabled hearing instruments. This includes: Roger On 3, Roger Select 3, Roger Table Mic 3 and from our education portfolio, the Roger Touchscreen 3!

What this means for you practically is seamless connection with no additional hardware, whilst also removing the need to uninstall the receivers.

Within our education portfolio, this innovation removes the need for an installer pad and simplifies the complexities of receivers when moving schools, losing or getting new hearing aids, and missing receivers. For our adult patients, it also removes receiver handling complexities, but also brings additional benefit in terms of flexibility! For instance, a married couple or friend group with Phonak hearing aids all can benefit from a single Roger microphone when at home or out and about.

Furthermore, we now consolidate our portfolio with iN vs non-iN. No more will you need to differentiate between iN or non-iN – all new Roger microphones will have unlimited receivers.
