Ariel Brownlee
AuD
I graduated from University of Illinois in Champagne-Urbana, and I have been practicing audiology for 5 years now.
My older sister is my inspiration for nearly everything I do in life. She is a spunky lady with down syndrome and despite her hearing difficulties and other health issues she is always positive, loving, and cracking jokes. I had the privilege of witnessing her doctors, therapists, and audiologists help her and encourage her to not let anything hold her back especially her hearing loss. Those experiences inspired me to want to help people overcome anything that could be viewed as a barrier, like hearing loss, so they can live their fullest and happiest lives, just like my sister is currently doing.
