This course will present the evolution of bone conduction technology due to pioneering innovations introduced by MED-EL over the past 10 years. Participants will learn how to incorporate ADHEAR and BONEBRIDGE treatment options into their clinical practice when serving patients with challenging etiologies resulting in Conductive or Mixed Hearing Loss or Single-Sided Deafness (SSD).

Kevin Vukovich
Kevin has been working in the field of audiology for more than 25 years. Much of that time has been spent focused on implantable and non-implantable solutions for overcoming hearing loss. Kevin is currently the Director of Bone Conduction Systems for the United States at MED-EL. Prior to joining Med-EL in 2011, Kevin has been responsible for various clinical, surgical, technical, education, and research support functions within the hearing healthcare industry and was a clinical audiologist at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, TN. Kevin received his bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Towson State University and his master’s degree in Audiology from University of Southern Mississippi.

She has extensive knowledge in hospital & otolaryngology practices as well as previously holding a faculty position at major universities. She joined MED-EL Corporation in 2019 after working as a field representative for hearing aid manufacturers.
