Alicia D.D. Spoor
Alicia D.D. Spoor, Au.D. is the Audiologist and President of Designer Audiology, LLC. She opened her own business with an unbundled/itemized pricing structure- one of the first in the nation to do so from day one, to benefit the patient and demonstrate the value of the audiologist. Dr. Spoor is the current Legislative Chair for the Maryland Academy of Audiology and a Past-President of the Academy of Doctors of Audiology.
Josiah Dykstra, PhD is the owner of Designer Security, a consulting business devoted to the cybersecurity needs in audiology. Over the past 16 years, he has worked as a practitioner, researcher, and leader in cybersecurity at the Department of Defense. He is a frequent speaker, the author of numerous peer-reviewed publications, and wrote the book Essential Cybersecurity Science.
Financial: Alicia Spoor is the lead learning and simulation developer for audiology at Simucase and received an honorarium for this course.
