About the opportunity
Advantage ENT & Audiology is hiring! Our new team member will join our collaborative team of Audiologists and ENT physicians who value your professional recommendations. Our audiologists enjoy a great team environment with the ability to individually decide how to best serve their patients. A day in the life with us involves administering comprehensive diagnostic testing as well as providing hearing aid testing, verification, selection, dispensing, and fitting to all populations. Additional responsibilities include:
- Counseling patients and their family members regarding test results and reviewing options which best meet their hearing care needs.
- Consulting with and making recommendations on hearing disorders to the ENT physicians.
- Completing chart notes for each patient seen and send written reports to the referring ENT physician with appropriate recommendations.
- Performing hearing aid checks, repairs and cleaning as needed for patients.
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work area.
- Performing all other duties as assigned.
Qualified candidates will have:
- Doctorate of Audiology (Au.D.) with current state license or eligible to obtain licensure. Audiologists of all experience levels are encouraged to apply!
- Excellent interpersonal skills that allow effective working relationships with patient, colleague and vender population. This includes listening, sales and problem-solving skills.
- Working knowledge of EMR systems.
- The ability to multi-task in a busy, fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to complete paperwork with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.
- A neat, professional appearance.
- Ability to work with patients in a caring and respectful manner.
