Davis Family Hearing, a privately-owned independent Hearing Healthcare practice in Crystal River, Spring Hill, Lady Lake, and New Port Richey, FL is seeking an Audiologist or Hearing Aid Specialist to add to our team. We have been helping the hard of hearing community for 13 years, and we are passionate about providing the best hearing healthcare technology available and to provide the best experience possible. The ideal candidate will be someone who can work independently as well as in a team environment.
The Audiologist or Hearing Aid Specialist will be responsible for hearing evaluations, fittings, and follow-up care, as well as counseling and educating the patient to find the best solution to treat their hearing loss. The Audiologist would also be responsible for cochlear implant evaluations, initial activations, and follow-up care. Training is available for specialty services
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate hearing function and identify auditory issues using specialized testing equipment.
- Perform detailed patient intake procedures, including medical history review and physiological evaluations related to hearing health.
- Fit, program, and adjust hearing aids tailored to each patient’s unique needs, ensuring optimal comfort and performance.
- Educate patients on device usage, maintenance, and troubleshooting to maximize their hearing experience.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in compliance with healthcare standards.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and physiology related to the auditory system.
- Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to diverse populations.
- Proficiency in patient assessment techniques and audiometric testing procedures.
- Ability to perform intake procedures efficiently while maintaining a caring demeanor.
- Strong teamwork skills
Pay Structure
- In addition to base pay and benefits, significant weekly and monthly bonuses can be achieved, making the pay range limitless.
