The Americans for Better Hearing Foundation (ABHF), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in the Chicago area, is seeking an Audiologist to join our team in delivering comprehensive hearing services to underserved Medicaid and low-income communities. There are no sales responsibilities. Your primary task will be to identify hearing loss and provide hearing aids to improve the quality of life for our patients. We see patients as people, not profit.
We seek individuals who possess flexibility, the ability to work independently, and demonstrate trustworthiness—traits essential for our team. Our organization operates four clinics and provides services to approximately 150 nursing facilities. The current position involves a combination of clinic-based duties and travel. All billing matters are managed by our dedicated billing department, allowing staff to focus their time and attention on patient care rather than insurance communications.
If you are seeking a new opportunity beyond traditional hearing aid sales, or if you are a parent looking for the flexibility to accompany your child to and from school, this position may suit your needs. It offers the ability to see patients in the morning while completing administrative tasks remotely, supporting an excellent work-life balance. AUD graduates are encouraged to apply.
