SLA Audiology is seeking to add a full-time audiologist to our rapidly growing private practice in Brownsburg, Indiana. We are entirely independent, locally owned, and community oriented. We specialize in higher level evaluations and personalized treatment options for all patients using state-of-the-art equipment and the latest hearing technologies.

Responsibilities:
- Diagnostic testing of all age groups for the diagnosis and treatment of hearing loss and tinnitus
- Immittance testing (tympanometry and reflex thresholds)
- Otoacoustic emissions
- Interpretation of tests and reporting to other medical professionals
- Develop treatment plans based on patients' communication needs
- Cerumen management
- Hearing aid, accessory, & FM programming
- Real Ear verification
- Electroacoustic analysis
- Aural rehabilitation
- Provide follow-up care to meet patients’ ongoing needs
- Participation in community outreach and marketing events
Education and Licensure Requirements:
- Graduate degree in Audiology; AuD preferred
- Strong 4th year extern considered
- Active Indiana audiology license required or eligible for licensure
Qualifications and Skills:
- Genuine commitment to the team and a desire to go above and beyond in compassionate patient care
- Strong computer and equipment experience
- Experience with multiple hearing aid manufacturers and willingness to learn any that are unfamiliar
- Effective communication skills to educate patients and their families
- Able to work independently and possess excellent time management skills
- Excellent written communication and attention to detail in electronic medical record documentation
- Organizational skills to manage time wisely and complete documentation within deadlines
- Basic understanding of insurance billing and coding in order to effectively communicate cost of care
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on new responsibilities as the practice grows
Work Hours and Benefits:
- Full time; 40 hours per week
- Salary range of AuD: $75,000-$90,000 per year based on experience
- Profit sharing based on clinic goals
