AUDIOLOGIST IN CLARKSVILLE, MARYLAND
PART-TIME (3 Days) or FULL TIME OPTIONS (4-5 Days)
Hearing Solutions Audiology Center, celebrating it's 20th Anniversary this year, is a private practice, currently seeking an Audiologist who is driven, self-motivated, and passionate about helping patients hear well again. The ideal candidate must have strong clinical skills complimented with effective counseling ability and a genuine compassion for helping patients hear better. The audiologist will be treating adults primarily, performing diagnostics and treatment plans using Best Practice Standards of Care.
This is 3-DAY WEEK Position. If a strong candidate is interested in 4 OR 5 DAYS, that can be discussed further in the interview process.
Our practice specializes in providing comprehensive audiological services, focusing on diagnostics and amplification to improve the quality of life for the patients in our community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough case history and audiological assessments to diagnose hearing disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations.
- Recommend, fit and subsequent reprogramming of hearing aids and assistive listening devices to meet patient listening and lifestyle needs.
- Educate patients and their families on hearing health, device usage, and communication strategies.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including building professional rapport with patients.
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree from an accredited institution.
- State licensure to practice Audiology in Maryland.
- 2 or more years of audiology experience with strong knowledge of diagnostics and amplification technology.
