We are seeking a reliable and patient-focused Part-Time/Per Diem Audiologist to join our team. This role is ideal for an Audiologist looking for flexible hours and the opportunity to support patients across a wide range of ages. The Audiologist will perform hearing and related evaluations, communicate results clearly, and provide guidance and recommendations to support overall hearing health.
Responsibilities
Provide hearing and related assessments for patients across the lifespan.
Explain findings and recommend next steps in a clear, supportive manner.
Offer guidance on communication strategies, hearing wellness, and appropriate follow-up or referrals.
Maintain accurate and organized documentation in accordance with NYS and professional standards.
Collaborate with other staff and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
Assist with patient needs during scheduled shifts as well as vacation or absence coverage.
Qualifications
Current New York State Audiology license (or eligibility for licensure).
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and provide compassionate, patient-centered care.
Comfortable working with individuals of all ages.
Work Environment
This position involves working in a professional clinical setting with a diverse patient population. The role offers flexibility while still allowing the Audiologist to play an important role in delivering quality hearing care. Open to part-time/per diem, Wednesday and Friday coverage, can work evening and/or weekends.
