Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role for an Audiologist. The Audiologist will perform comprehensive hearing assessments, diagnose hearing impairments, and develop customized treatment plans. Responsibilities include fitting and programming hearing aids, providing ongoing patient counseling and education, and coordinating follow-up care to ensure optimal outcomes. Additionally, the Audiologist will collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed to ensure the best care for patients.
Qualifications
Expertise in diagnostics, including conducting comprehensive hearing evaluations and interpreting audiometric test results. Skills in hearing aid fitting, programming, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
Strong patient counseling abilities in providing education on hearing health, device usage, and auditory rehabilitation.
Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining patient records and documentation.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
State licensure to practice audiology in Ohio is required.
Doctorate in Audiology (AuD.) or Master's degree in Audiology from an accredited program.
