1. Widex has long been recognized for its sound philosophy. Can you share what makes Widex’s approach to sound unique, and why naturalness is such a central focus?

Widex is guided by a singular focus: replicating the natural auditory experience as closely as possible to deliver a more authentic and effortless hearing experience. Many hearing aid platforms still force people to choose between speech clarity and environmental awareness – a compromise that can leave wearers feeling disconnected. Widex believes wearers shouldn’t have to make that tradeoff. Our sound philosophy is about preserving the authentic details of real-world listening and activating advanced processing only when it genuinely enhances understanding. This approach allows wearers to hear speech clearly while also staying immersed in the subtle sounds that bring richness to daily life, from the rustle of leaves to the laughter of loved ones.

2. The new Widex Allure platform is powered by the next-generation W1 chip and Precision Hearing Technology. How do these advancements translate into a clearer, more natural hearing experience for users?

The new W1 chip is four times faster than its predecessor*, with expanded memory to support advanced features. This enables our Precision Hearing Technology, which integrates innovations like Allure PureSound, Speech Enhancer Pro, and the Dynamic Feedback Controller. PureSound reduces processing delay to create a transparent listening experience; Speech Enhancer Pro helps deliver clarity in noisy situations; and the Dynamic Feedback Controller prevents whistling without compromising sound quality. Together, these features work seamlessly to balance crystal-clear speech with authentic environmental sound. For wearers, this means conversations remain vivid, surroundings feel natural, and the overall listening experience is stable and true-to-life.

3. New clinical research has shown that wearers consistently prefer Widex Allure’s sound over competitor devices. What are some of the key outcomes from these studies, and what do they tell us about how users are experiencing sound?

The research is very compelling. In one survey, 91% of users agreed that Allure’s sound was easy to get used to, 80% described it as immediately natural, and 89% found it clear right from the start.1 Beyond those first-fit impressions, surveys conducted by Widex with experienced wearers found that Allure was preferred 4-to-1 over their own hearing aids for speech understanding, naturalness, and overall sound quality.2 We also see higher satisfaction ratings in challenging environments, with 70% reporting better awareness of surroundings and 74% rating Allure higher in noisy environments.2 Together, these outcomes show that wearers not only adapt quickly to Allure but also feel more confident, comfortable, and engaged in their everyday lives because of it.

4. Beyond sound quality, Widex has also recently introduced new Allure form factors and chargers – including BTE, a rechargeable ITE, and a portable charger for the RIC model. How do these additions expand choice and confidence for both hearing care professionals (HCPs) and their wearers?

Every wearer’s needs are different, and we want to make sure our partners can meet those needs with confidence. The expanded Allure portfolio does exactly that. The new Allure rechargeable BTE provides reliable power, a slim design, and versatile fittings for mild to profound hearing loss. The new Allure ITE – Widex’s first rechargeable ITE with Bluetooth® – offers a discreet, custom-fit solution with up to 23 hours of use* and effortless charging. And for patients using our RIC device, the new portable charger enables up to a week of on-the-go use without requiring external power*. Together, these additions give our HCP partners more tools to fit diverse wearer profiles while ensuring wearers can choose a solution that feels seamless, reliable, and empowering in their daily routines.

5. The Allure portfolio emphasizes connectivity and versatility – from Bluetooth® LE Audio and telecoil to multiple charging options. How do these features, along with personalization tools like the Allure app’s AI assistants, help wearers stay connected and confident in their daily lives?

Today’s wearers expect their hearing aids to integrate into their digital lives, not stand apart from them. Allure delivers on this with options for direct streaming for both Apple and Android, hands-free calling, Bluetooth® LE Audio, and built-in telecoil for public loop systems. These connectivity features allow wearers to stay engaged whether they’re on a call, enjoying music, or attending an event in a loop-enabled venue. In addition, the Allure portfolio offers multiple charging options – including desktop, Charge & Clean, and the new portable charger – so wearers can choose what best suits their lifestyle. The Allure app adds another layer of control, with AI-powered assistants that let wearers fine-tune their sound in real time, directly from their smartphone. Together, these solutions ensure wearers stay connected, confident, and in control, every single day.

6. Let’s turn to fitting. Widex Compass Cloud is the world’s first cloud-based fitting software. What does this mean for HCPs, and how does it change the fitting experience for their wearers?

Compass Cloud represents a major evolution in how fittings are done. It was developed hand-in-hand with hearing care professionals to ensure it meets their clinical needs while remaining intuitive and easy to use. By simplifying workflows and enhancing fitting precision, it allows professionals to focus more on the most important part of the process – their patients. The platform is built on the Widex Fitting Rationale 2.0 and Precision Fitting Tools, supporting highly accurate, natural-sounding fittings and greater first-fit success. While Compass Cloud’s intuitive design was quickly embraced by many professionals, some also voiced a desire for more advanced control options. That feedback helped shape our current quarterly update cadence – ensuring the platform evolves in real time to meet the diverse needs of all of our HCP partners. For wearers, that focus on precision and personalization means greater confidence from the very first fitting session – knowing their hearing aids are optimized to deliver the clear, natural Widex sound from day one.

7. We’ve heard that Compass Cloud is continuously evolving with new features and improvements. How does this commitment to regular updates ensure HCPs always have the latest features at their fingertips?

One of the key benefits of Compass Cloud is its ability to evolve. Because it’s cloud-based, new features and improvements can be rolled out directly, without requiring new hardware or lengthy installations. Widex has established a regular release cadence that brings meaningful enhancements at a steady pace. These updates include everything from improved fitting tools to expanded access controls, all backed by ISO-certified privacy and security standards. For our partners, this means they can be confident that their fitting platform is always current, always secure, and always giving them the best tools available to support their patients.

8. Widex has introduced new data-driven fitting tools such as Fitting Rationale 2.0 and Precision Fitting Tools. How do these help HCPs deliver highly personalized care and success from the start?

Successful fittings start with precision, and Widex has built new tools to make that process smarter and more data-driven. Widex Fitting Rationale 2.0 establishes a stronger foundation for great first fits by balancing focused audibility with natural awareness. It was developed using large-scale, real-world fitting data gathered from thousands of wearers who consented to share their adjustments. By analyzing how professionals actually fine-tune fittings in practice, Widex identified key patterns that now inform more accurate gain and compression targets from the start. The result is a rationale designed to improve first-fit accuracy and reduce the need for follow-up adjustments.

Under Precision Fitting, two in-situ measurement tools – Acoustic Calibration and the redesigned Sensogram – take individualization to the next level. Acoustic Calibration precisely measures the vent characteristics of each fitting, ensuring stable, clear sound regardless of ear tip choice. The new Allure Sensogram allows for optional in-ear threshold measurements, giving HCPs greater flexibility to tailor gain and noise reduction to each wearer’s unique listening needs.

Together, these advancements create a smoother, more efficient fitting experience for providers and a faster path to satisfaction for wearers who experience clear, natural Widex sound from the very beginning.

9. For independent HCPs in particular, how does Widex Allure serve as a platform they can confidently recommend and build their practice around?

Independent HCPs play a vital role in hearing care, and we want to empower them with solutions they can trust. Allure offers exactly that: a platform grounded in natural sound quality that patients consistently prefer, combined with a wide range of form factors and an evolving fitting platform that ensures they can meet diverse patient needs. For practices, this translates into higher satisfaction, reduced returns, and less time troubleshooting – which ultimately supports business growth. Independent HCPs can feel confident recommending Allure, knowing they are offering their wearers a future-ready solution backed by Widex’s longstanding leadership in sound quality.

10. Looking ahead, what does Widex’s ongoing commitment to sound quality, innovative solutions, and evolving fitting tools mean for the future of hearing care – both for your HCP partners and their wearers?

For wearers, it means hearing aids that not only deliver a natural, authentic listening experience today but also continue to evolve as their needs change. For professionals, it means having a partner committed to continuous innovation, ease of fitting, and patient success. With Allure, Widex delivers solutions that are clear, intuitive, and future-ready. The difference is clear: wearers benefit from natural sound, seamless connectivity, and the confidence to engage fully in life, while our partners gain a platform that grows with their practice and supports life-changing wearer outcomes now and in the future. Since Compass Cloud continues to evolve, HCPs can expect regular updates and new features roughly every other month, ensuring they always have the latest tools to deliver the best care.
