Does Oticon ConnectLine Work with the Ponto Streamer?
Answer
Yes. ConnectLine accessories can be ordered either through Oticon Medical or Oticon. The options are the TV adapter, the ConnectLine microphone, ConnectLine phone adapter, FM, and office phone kit. The TV adapter allows you to watch TV with the sound wirelessly streamed to the processors. The ConnectLine microphone is paired to the Ponto Streamer through Bluetooth. It is a small clip-on microphone that is worn by the person to whom you want to listen. Speech can be sent directly to the sound processor via the Ponto Streamer. The ConnectLine phone adapter makes it possible to use the Ponto Streamer with a traditional analog landline phone. The FM receiver plugs in directly to the Ponto Streamer for wireless FM connectivity to one or more processors.
Rebecca Cihocki Au.D. joined Oticon Medical in 2012 as the Clinical Audiologist for the western United States. Rebecca earned her Au.D. with Salus University; she also holds a Masters of Science from Vanderbilt University and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Arizona. Dr. Cihocki has over 15 years of clinical audiology experience; including 8 years at the House Ear Clinic, where she specialized in treatment of SSD patients and adults with middle ear disorders. Prior to joining Oticon Medical, Dr. Cihocki worked at Phonak Hearing Instruments as customer trainer in the southwest and territory account manager in Arizona.
