Hearing healthcare services are sought out by patients with a wide range of ages, socioeconomic status, health conditions and other factors that can impact the health of themselves and others. Hearing healthcare practices are responsible for ensuring the safety of the professional staff as well as the patients and others who enter the practice. This course will discuss the risk of infection in the hearing professionals’ workspace and risk prevention tools to develop an office infection control protocol.
