The course addresses the question: How to bring true patient- and family-centered care to your audiology practice? The course is based on a new 2019 textbook by Meyer, Scarinci and Hickson called “Patient and Family-Centered Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology”.

- After this course, participants will be able to describe the nature and benefits of patient and family-centered clinical practice.
- After this course, participants will be able to identify the needs of patients and families affected by hearing impairment.
- After this course, participants will be able to meet the needs of patients with hearing impairment and their families through collaborative management planning.
