Especially important information when providing tinnitus management. Pretty sure I have never heard it addressed. I've dealt with a few tinnitus patients who overdosed prior to tinnitus intervention and one guy who went postal at work --- hmmm, there were lots of potential interesting encounters which were never discussed in clinical training. Glad to see this information available.

Very informative and impactful. As a young clinician I had a tinnitus patient talk about suicide and I was very ill-prepared for the situation. The patient dies shortly after and I was shocked and racked with guilt. So much so, I went to the viewing in an attempt to learn how he had died. It turned out he had a heart attack, and did not commit suicide, but it completely changed my approach when dealing with tinnitus patient's who make suicidal comments. I wish I had access to this info prior

The information in this course was not unfamiliar to me, but it was good to have a refresher. I think it is extremely important for anyone who has not thought about the possibility of this coming up during an appointment. It's not easy to talk about for most people, so it's best to prepared for if/when it does.
