This is your opportunity to join a renowned, multifaceted aural rehabilitation program that sees patients within our hospital and outpatient settings. As an Audiologist at UF Health Shands, you’ll be able to:

• Maximize your full training, knowledge and skills to identify, assess and manage disorders of the auditory, balance and other neural systems. 
• Provide audiological (aural) rehabilitation to children and adults across the entire age span.
• Help prevent hearing loss through the provision and fitting of hearing protective devices, consultation on the effects of noise on hearing, and consumer education.
• Deliver personalized therapies by utilizing patient data to apply appropriate therapies for your patient’s specific needs as described in the unit's/area's/department's policies and procedures.

Successful Audiology candidates should have their AuD or PhD in Audiology and be licensed in the state of Florida. We’re seeking excellent communicators who have demonstrated knowledge and skills in a broad range of therapy services and settings.
