What is InnoCaption?
InnoCaption offers an empowering solution for individuals who need captions to understand their phone calls due to hearing loss. The InnoCaption mobile app allows users to easily make and receive phone calls, while seeing accurate, real-time captions to ensure they never miss a word. Whether it's making calls to friends and family, on-the-job communication, or assistance during emergencies, InnoCaption provides the confidence and clarity needed for effective communication.
Individuals with a hearing loss can register and use the InnoCaption app free of charge because InnoCaption is certified and funded by the FCC as a telecommunications relay service (TRS) provider. The InnoCaption app is accessible on Android and iOS smartphones and tablets, as well as on the web.

Keep Your Existing Phone Number
Our patented One Number System allows users to keep their existing phone number. Set up call forwarding to have calls to your existing number captioned by the InnoCaption app.
Dual Caption Modes
Experience real-time captioning of phone calls through live stenographers or best-in-class automated speech recognition technology. Users have the flexibility to switch between these modes before or during calls.
Select a Secondary Language
Our automated captioning supports many languages including Spanish, Chinese, Filipino, Vietnamese, French, Arabic, Korean and more! Easily switch between English and your selected secondary language during calls.
Two-Sided Captions
Users can choose to have captions of only the other party or both sides of the conversation. Users can switch between one or two-sided captions anytime, even during a call, by tapping the 3-dot menu button at the top right.
Security and Privacy
InnoCaption is fully compliant with federal law to ensure that calls are kept strictly private and confidential. Our privacy and compliance procedures are regulated and audited by the FCC. Furthermore, InnoCaption is HIPAA compliant and adheres to SOC 2 security standards.
Review Past Call Transcripts
Users have the ability to access and review past call transcripts to ensure important details aren’t forgotten. Transcripts can be easily saved or email transcripts for future reference.
Captioned Voicemail
A full preview of transcripts of voicemails are generated by our automated speech recognition engine. If needed, messages can be re-captioned by live captioners for accuracy.

We are a passionate, purpose-driven team on a mission to provide an empowering accessibility solution for the deaf and hard of hearing community. We focused solely on smartphone technology when our industry mainly offered landline phone solutions. We utilize live stenographers (CART) to provide faster and more accurate captioning despite the higher cost it entails. We are the only captioned phone service provider to offer users the choice between automated speech recognition technology or live CART on every call. All because we care about our users and put their needs first.
