Course: #25576 2 HoursIn this era of high consumer expectations, audiologists need to engage with patients in a more collaborative way to meet the changing needs of today's healthy agers. A significant component of redefining audiology’s value to the marketplace is implementing a more effective approach to patient interaction, called motivational or solution-focused interviewing (SFI). This course will discuss an SFI approach that centers on the audiologist’s ability to guide patients through the process of behavior change needed to overcome the consequences of hearing loss.

In addition to his duties with Unitron, Brian is the Editor of Audiology Practices, the quarterly publication of the Academy of Doctors of Audiology. Brian Taylor is an employee of Unitron.
