There's a New Star in School: Making FM Work for Children with Listening Difficulties

This presentation will include the difficulties children with normal or near normal hearing face when they are in complex listening environments, including acoustic and cognitive issues. The Amigo Star, a low-gain, fully integrated ear-worn FM receiver, will be presented as a potential tool to assist children with listening difficulties in the classroom. An update on the Oticon Amigo FM family as well as FM compatibility options with Amigo Star and Streamer Pro will be reviewed as well.
