PhD
Kris English, PhD is a Professor Emeritus of Audiology at the University of Akron. She has authored several books and chapters, and has presented over 400 workshops and papers in North America, the UK, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand, primarily on the topic of audiologic counseling. Her service to the profession includes 10 years on the board of the Educational Audiology Association (President, 1997) and 5 years as a board member for the American Academy of Audiology (President, 2009–2010). She created and writes for a web forum called AdvancingAudCounseling.com and welcomes submissions from students, faculty and practitioners.
