Dear Friends of Westone: 
It is with extreme sadness that I am writing to inform you of the passing of our good friend and CEO, Randy Morgan. As many of you are aware, Randy has been battling a very aggressive form of brain cancer over the last several months. Randy died peacefully at his ranch outside of Woodland Park, Colorado on June 6, 2006, surrounded by his wife, Nannette, and several of his close friends and relatives.
Randy stood at the helm of Westone as President and CEO for the last 20 years. His vision and leadership helped propel Westone from a small earmold lab to one of the most recognized and respected firms in the hearing healthcare industry. The Westone of today is a thriving memorial to Randy's unwavering commitment to a core set of values. We will all dearly miss his wit and fearless approach to life.
Over the last several years, Randy began implementing a business succession plan involving a number of Westone's long term employees. We are both fortunate and proud to perpetuate Randy's life work and legacy at Westone by continuing to serve our valued customers in the spirit in which he would have wanted.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to The Penrose Cancer Center in Colorado Springs or Prospect Homecare Hospice in Woodland Park, Colorado.
Westone's administrative offices and lab facilities will be closed for business on Tuesday, June 13, 2006.
