Invitation to AuD and PhD Students for Phonak U - August 9-11.

The dates for Phonak U 2007 have been set: August 9-11, 2007. This conference, held exclusively for AuD and PhD audiology students, is held annually in Warrenville, Illinois at Phonak's US Headquarters. For information and registration materials, please visit our website at phonakpro.com/

We will have an on-line informational session for students shortly after AAA, using Audiology Online's "log on and learn" format. We look forward to a great meeting, combining lectures and "hands-on" experience with outstanding resident and guest faculty. Last year we had over 300 students from over 50 programs represented, and we anticipate even greater numbers this year! In addition to the topics covered in previous years, we will have additional sessions this year on electrophysiological assessment, strategies for prevention of hearing loss, FM and assistive technology, forensic audiology, business planning and private practice considerations, and hands-on cerumen removal. As always, we have assembled a stellar visiting faculty, who are available both on and off the podium to meet with students to share their research and clinical expertise.

Students may receive a travel and lodging scholarship to help defer costs. In addition, meals are provided for attendees during the conference.
