Answer: Oasis is the software platform needed to program Sonic Innovations Varicom products. It can be installed as a Noah fitting module or be used as a stand-alone module.
Question: Can I program all of Sonic Innovations hearing aids with Oasis?
Answer: No. Oasis is used to program only the Varicom family of products. The EXPRESSfit Fitting System 6.4 allows you to program everything else in Sonic's product lineup.
Question: Are the fitting levels like acclimatization levels? How does that work?
Answer: Actually no - the 3 fitting levels allow you to change the fine tuning view from simple, with fewer controls, to advanced, with many controls. You can make the fine tuning screen as technical - or as easy - as you'd like.
Question: I have all of the programs set but would like to see how the automatic telephone program is set. Where can I view this?
Answer: When you are viewing the amplification screen, the programs are listed horizontally along the bottom. If you look to the right of the programs, you will see an arrow. When you click on the arrow, you will see the "hidden" programs (those programs that are not accessible with the push button). Here is where you can make adjustments to that program, as well as to SoundGate programs.
