Dr. Catherine Jons is an Educational Specialist with Signia She is responsible for training customers and staff on existing and new developments in the areas of technology, products, and software. She brings with her more than 25 years of successful programming experience and disseminates this knowledge to facilitate positive patient outcomes. Training forums include office, university, regional, and state meetings in the U.S. and overseas. Catherine’s online training responsibilities include conducting customer and staff webinars, virtual sessions, and writing articles for HearingAids.com. Additionally, she has published peer-reviewed articles in the area of amplification. Catherine received her doctorate in Audiology from Central Michigan University, master’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and bachelor’s from the University of Minnesota-Duluth. Catherine previously worked at the University of Minnesota Medical Center as a clinical audiologist and coordinator of the Hearing-Aid Program for more than 20 years. She also worked clinically at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and Johns Hopkins Hospital where she concentrated on the area of amplification.
