Amanda O'Donnell, AuD
Acoustic Systems Manager
Dr. O’Donnell is an audiologist with a broad base of clinical and educational experiences. She joined MED-EL Corporation in 2017. She is passionate about improving the care individuals with hearing and balance disorders receive, and has demonstrated this by providing evidence-based care in clinical practice, and education and training to clinicians and students alike. Previous experience includes an educational specialist role with a major hearing instrument manufacturer, and prior to that as a clinician and professor at UNC Chapel Hill. She has also held the role of audiology consultant with HIMSA since 2014. Amanda received her undergraduate degree from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland, and her doctorate in Audiology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is Board Certified in Audiology, holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology from ASHA, and is licensed in the State of North Carolina.
