This presentation is a continuation of Dr. Kathy Gates presentation on Integrating Hearing Health Services into Outpatient/Primary Care encounters. The presentation will go through the types of the materials in the toolkit for audiology providers to provide outreach throughout their community and how to implement the ideas in their communities.

Malisha Martukovich
Major Malisha Martukovich serves as the Air Force Audiology Liaison to the Defense Hearing Center of Excellence at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas. As an advocate for hearing health issues within the DOD, she works on outreach activities, prevention initiatives and is a member of several DoD working groups. Prior to her assignment to the HCE, Maj Martukovich was stationed at Lackland Air Force Base, where she was the Surgical Specialties Flight Commander. Other past assignments include Hearing Conservation Instructor/Course Director, USAFSAM, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio; Audiology Flight Commander, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio; Group Executive Officer, Yokota Air Base, Japan; and Audiology Clinical Fellow, Lackland Air Force Base, Texas. Maj Martukovich earned her Doctoral degree in Audiology from Arizona School of Health Sciences, A.T. Still University in Mesa, Arizona, as well as a Master's and Bachelor's degree from The Ohio State University. She is a member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A). She is also certified as a Professional Supervisor of the Audiometric Monitoring Program (PS/A) and Course Director (CD) with the Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation (CAOHC).
