    We are looking for a Research Audiologist that will work on a variety of short- and long-term research projects that will have an impact on future hearing aid technology and bring benefit to the hearing impaired. Projects include perceptual science experiments, prototype technology evaluations, and novel audiological procedure development. Work will be collaborative with other researchers and personnel in Minnesota.

    You Will:

    • Work with research group members to execute experimental studies
    • Perform tasks related to human subject testing in the hearing research laboratories
    • Handle research data
    • Promote research externally
    • Publish research in audiology-related peer-reviewed and trade journals
    • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of hearing aid technology and advances in audiology

    You Will Need:

    • Education: Ph.D., or AuD; Master’s Degree in Audiology with equivalent training and experience may qualify
    • Extensive experience conducting experiments with hearing impaired subjects; (required for level II, desired for level I)
    • Expertise in speech tests and psychoacoustics
    • Knowledge of the audiology research literature
    • Knowledge of current hearing aid technology
    • Familiarity with audiometer and real ear probe microphone measurements
    • Good written and verbal communication skills
    • Excellent organizational skills
