Audiology practice in the Las Vegas/Southern Nevada area is seeking a full-time or part-time Hearing Instrument Specialist or dispensing Audiologist to join our amazing team! We are a practice that highly values caring and service and being open to new and inventive ideas. We pride ourselves in being experts at helping people hear better.
Fun, fast-paced busy environment with a strong, friendly, competent supporting staff. We are credentialed with multiple insurances and entities and travel to several locations to offer hearing evaluations, hearing aid sales, service and repairs.
The qualified candidate will be responsible for conducting full hearing assessments and hearing instrument fittings, all while providing top-quality patient care. The right candidate will have a proven track record in hearing instrument fitting, excellent patient care and problem-solving skills.
The best candidate for our team will:
- Conduct patient diagnostics by administering hearing evaluations, tests, and/or examinations.
- Fit and dispense hearing aids and recommend proper assistive devices according to patient needs.
- Maintain patient notes in our online database.
- Order hearing devices online and keep accurate records in our online database.
- Facilitate ordering and record keeping between our database, the patients insurance, if any, and hearing aid manufacturers.
- Trouble-shoot and repair devices.
- Provide on-going maintenance and help ensure patients are achieving desired outcomes.
- Provide these services at one of our sixteen part-time locations. We rotate through all of them regularly.
Requirements:
- Nevada dispensing license (or ability to get one right away)
- Computer/database literate
- Ability to lift bags and equipment in and out of car
- Nevada drivers license
- Professional Experience: 1+ years of experience dispensing hearing instruments preferred.
- Must be a self-starter, self-motivated, have problem solving skills and time management skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
