Members have benefits for annual evaluations and free basic technology hearing aids or significantly discounted higher technology hearing aids every three years.

We are seeking a full-time or part-time Audiologist motivated to to administer audiological and hearing aid benefits using best practice methods to union members in our newly renovated downtown Manhattan Audiology center.

Job Requirements:

· New York State Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispenser license

· Doctorate in Audiology

· Experience working with a diverse adult population and hearing aids

· Ability to work independently

Duties:

· Create rapport with patient and complete case history interview

· Complete comprehensive audiological evaluation including speech in noise testing

· Discuss patient needs, available options and make recommendations for hearing aids and assistive devices

· Fitting of hearing aids using real ear verification measurements

· Counseling of patients regarding use and care of hearing aids

· Follow up with hearing aids, repairs and troubleshooting in person and via telehealth

· Document all patient contact in EMR system

Full-Time work schedule: Monday to Friday 9am-5pm (35-hour work week)

· Compensation: $90,000-$110,000 annual salary varies depending on job experience

Part-Time work schedule: Days per Week: 3 based on applicant's availabililty Monday-Sat; Hours per Day: 8; Total Weekly Hours: 24
