CHICAGO, Sept. 8, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Today at the 65th Annual IHS Convention & Expo, Hamilton® CapTel® unveils their new Hamilton CapTel Noah Module – software designed to optimize convenience for audiologists, making it easier for them to provide captioned telephones to their patients with hearing loss at no cost. The Hamilton CapTel phone is the most advanced captioned telephone on the market today for people who have difficulty hearing over the phone.

According to the Hearing Instrument Manufacturers' Software Association (HIMSA), more than 90 percent of audiology practices in the U.S. use the Noah System 4 or compatible business system. Traditionally, audiologists completed paper forms to certify their patients are eligible to receive a no-cost Hamilton CapTel phone. The new Noah module significantly streamlines the ordering process by automating these necessary forms. Hamilton CapTel is the only captioned telephone provider with a Noah 4 module certified by HIMSA, the supplier and administrator of the Noah Office Management system.

"We want to make it as easy as possible for audiologists to procure this no-cost solution for their patients with hearing loss," said Dave Blanchard, national sales and marketing program manager, Hamilton CapTel. "We developed our certified Noah software module to allow them to go paperless and easily work within the system they use every day to manage patient information. It takes as little as thirty seconds to complete these order forms in Noah."

How it Works:

  1. Audiologists can download the free Hamilton CapTel Noah module at HamiltonCapTel.com/noah and install it
  2. Patient record information within the Noah 4 system automatically populates Hamilton CapTel order forms
  3. Secure, encrypted online ordering eliminates having to scan hand-written forms and submit them via fax or email and ensures FCC compliance and the safety of patient record data

Audiologists interested in a demonstration of the new Noah-certified module can visit Hamilton CapTel during IHS at Booth #406.
