What led Rayovac to innovate Pro Line Advanced?

Our goal was to answer the unmet needs in the hearing aid battery market. We looked at new Pro Line as a solution to issues we have been hearing from both hearing aid wearers and hearing health professionals for years. The new Pro Line Advanced battery system design was rooted in hearing aid battery consumer research we conducted along with input from hearing health professionals.

What were the findings of your research?

We found that the top two things hearing aid users are looking for when it comes to their hearing aid batteries are: longer battery life and an easy-to-use package. The new Pro Line Advanced delivers on both.

Denis Carpenter

Director Zinc Air Product and OEM Liaison, Rayovac

Denis Carpenter has been with Rayovac for more than 30 years and was on the original zinc air development team. Denis has held a position on the International Electro-technical Commission (IEC) committee since 1999 and is also a member of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) committee.  In 2008 Denis was recognized by the IEC, celebrating his career-long contribution to improvements in hearing aid battery technology and his ‘exceptional’ work towards international standardization in electro-technology.  He earned his BS in Chemistry at the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse.
