It is understood that standardization is required to accomplish a quality UNHS program in order to achieve the goals set forth. One key component for successful UNHS worldwide is the use of AABR. This presentation will investigate implementation of a newborn hearing screening program as well as current programs that have been successful in reaching global goals quantified by quality assurance measures. We will also review the Wyoming Newborn Hearing Screening (NBHS) Program and discuss the advantages of using AABR as the primary measure for NBHS.
