A growing otolaryngology practice situated in the beautiful Berkshire Mountains of Western Massachusetts located just three hours from Boston and New York City. We provide comprehensive ENT Care in Pittsfield, Massachusetts and surrounding Berkshire County. Exciting position available for highly motivated individual interested in working in well-established and well-respected ENT private practice. The practice runs the gamut from the kids to adults and has significant potential for growth. The position would involve diagnostic audiometry in addition to hearing aid fittings.
The Berkshires offers abundant activities for the outdoor enthusiast including hiking, skiing, fishing, and biking. The area boasts nationally renowned theatres and museums. Additionally, the Berkshires are the summer home of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, at Tanglewood.
The Audiologist will be responsible for hearing evaluations for adults, fittings, follow-up care, as well as counseling and educating the patient to find the best solution to treat their hearing loss. We are also looking for individuals that have experience in VRA and CPA testing for Pediatrics.
Main Job Responsibilities:
- Provides excellent customer service and maintains good public relations
- Conduct diagnostic comprehensive hearing evaluations
- Executes a treatment plan through excellent counseling and education
- Recommend and fit proper hearing devices based on patient’s needs
- Assist in clinical administrative functions including phone calls, documentation, reporting, etc.
- May also be involved in marketing and public outreach, including community events, lunch and learns, health fairs, senior living events, etc.
- Maintain confidentiality of all business and patient information
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Education: Masters or Doctorate in Audiology
- Active Massachusetts Audiology licensure or eligible to obtain
- Strong leadership, communication, and sales skills
- Self-starter, team player, positive energy
- Problem solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills both verbal and written
- Full time applicants preferred but willing to consider part time applicants
