ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Partner with Professional Development Team to define, track and uphold HearUSA's Standard of Care, together with its documentation: Best Practice Guidelines (BPGs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Way We Works (WWWs).
  • Partner with Professional Development and Operations Teams for implementation of our Standard of Care into everyday clinical work. Update all materials in the Zipline Library.
  • Implement and track regular audit of skills for all Hearing Care Professionals (HCPs), including the 3-year recredentialing cycle with a med report audit and HAE observation. Coordinate activities with the QM HCPs completing peer audits.
  • Refine and implement a Quality Management Interview for use during the hiring of HCPs. Adapt to create certifications for individual groups of HCPs, such as Team Leads, Preceptors, Subject Matter Experts etc.
  • Define clinical equipment standards for traditional and host-site centers and work with Operations and Procurement to secure them. Introduce clinical audits through the use of analytics on Unity 3 / 4 audiometers.
  • Lead the HearUSA Quality Committee and be a contributing member of the our compliance committees. Partner with other members to ensure HearUSA strives to uphold the highest standard of care for clients.
  • Responsible for ensuring HearUSA adheres to National and State clinical and regulatory policies. Inform and implement changes to our BPGs and SOPs.
  • Responsible for submission and administration of Continuing Education (CE) credits, collaborating with Professional Development Team.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • 5+ years experience in a client-centric, Audiology or Hearing Aid Specialist role.
  • Effectively coached and trained peers and/or students.
  • Experience as an ambassador for change, pioneering for better solutions, and providing critical feedback.
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Advanced written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate detailed or technical information clearly, accurately and concisely.
  • Ability to work quickly, accurately and independently in a fast paced environment
  • Adaptability, and problem solving skills
