Opportunity:  

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Audiologist to join our team; delivering exceptional hearing healthcare services in a fast-paced and modern practice environment. The ideal candidate will be agile, ambitious, compassionate, and dedicated with a strong commitment to providing personalized care to meet the diverse needs of modern patients.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments using advanced diagnostic equipment and techniques.
  2. Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique needs, including hearing aid selection, fitting, and programming.
  3. Provide counseling and education to patients and their families regarding hearing loss, communication strategies, and the use and care of hearing aids and assistive devices.
  4. Stay current with advancements in audiology technology, research, and best practices to continuously improve patient care and outcomes.
  5. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure integrated and holistic care for patients with complex auditory and communication needs.
  6. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including assessment results, treatment plans, and progress notes, in compliance with regulatory standards.
  7. Participate in community outreach programs and educational initiatives to raise awareness about hearing health and promote our practice.
  8. Foster a positive and supportive work environment by actively contributing to team meetings, training, and professional development activities.

Qualifications:

  1. Doctoral degree in Audiology (Au.D.) from an accredited institution.
  2. Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Audiology.
  3. Accountability to practice within an established professional code of ethics and scope of practice within federal, state and institutional policies and regulations.
  4. Proficiency in conducting a wide range of diagnostic audiological assessments and interpreting results.
  5. Comfort working deeply in the ear canal with modern ear cleaning techniques.
  6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build trust with patients from diverse backgrounds.
  7. Integrity to observe a professional manner regarding confidentiality with individuals, family members and other service providers.  
  8. Cultural competence and compassion to show care and concern for patients, encourage the involvement of families in the plan of care, and understand the impact of cultural differences. 
  9. Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
