Opportunity:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Audiologist to join our team; delivering exceptional hearing healthcare services in a fast-paced and modern practice environment. The ideal candidate will be agile, ambitious, compassionate, and dedicated with a strong commitment to providing personalized care to meet the diverse needs of modern patients.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments using advanced diagnostic equipment and techniques.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique needs, including hearing aid selection, fitting, and programming.
- Provide counseling and education to patients and their families regarding hearing loss, communication strategies, and the use and care of hearing aids and assistive devices.
- Stay current with advancements in audiology technology, research, and best practices to continuously improve patient care and outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure integrated and holistic care for patients with complex auditory and communication needs.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including assessment results, treatment plans, and progress notes, in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Participate in community outreach programs and educational initiatives to raise awareness about hearing health and promote our practice.
- Foster a positive and supportive work environment by actively contributing to team meetings, training, and professional development activities.
Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree in Audiology (Au.D.) from an accredited institution.
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Audiology.
- Accountability to practice within an established professional code of ethics and scope of practice within federal, state and institutional policies and regulations.
- Proficiency in conducting a wide range of diagnostic audiological assessments and interpreting results.
- Comfort working deeply in the ear canal with modern ear cleaning techniques.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build trust with patients from diverse backgrounds.
- Integrity to observe a professional manner regarding confidentiality with individuals, family members and other service providers.
- Cultural competence and compassion to show care and concern for patients, encourage the involvement of families in the plan of care, and understand the impact of cultural differences.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
