Are Your Patients Satisfied?

Share:

West Lafayette, IN- AFA's exhibit was buzzing with excitement after the Audiology Patient Satisfaction Program was introduced at this year's ADA convention. Audiologists wanted to know more about how they could sign up to participate in this exciting new program. The program provides audiologists with personalized information that tells them how their patients really feel about their overall care and service. Using the results positions audiologists for success in gaining physician referrals, improving marketing efforts and winning managed care contracts.

Experts developed the survey tool, which is customized for audiologists. Data are processed and analyzed by an experienced research firm and participants receive customized, confidential, easy-to-understand reports. Specific action plans are also included to help the practitioner improve satisfaction levels.

The program was piloted by audiologists across the country and was given high marks by pilot participants. According to Erin Miller, AuD, Neuro Communications, Youngstown, Ohio, 'The AFA satisfaction survey met all our needs, was easy to implement and gave us information on how to better satisfy differing groups of patients.' Coral Jud, AuD, owner of Fort Dodge Area Audiology Services stated, 'Our results helped us confirm what we're doing well and where we could improve our service. Knowing the information came from our patients makes it extremely valuable.'
