This course will present the results of a national survey of over 262 fathers of children with hearing loss that evaluated their perspectives on service delivery and their own roles as fathers of children with hearing loss. This article describes the development of a new prescriptive fitting algorithm for high frequency hearing losses, OPEN, including a detailed rationale and supporting clinical studies.
